Thank you for that information. I know that our guild gets batting from Hobbs for our charity quilts. I also know that the shipping is pretty expensive for it too.

I will happily use it but prefer an all cotton for myself rather than poly --but 80/20 is good to work with.
So even if I was not "Made in USA" my quilts can be.

I found this very interesting. I don't think anyone in my area carries Hobbs. Need to see where I can get it. Supporting home grown business is very important.

Thank you for the info....I will be supporting Hobbs from now on! And I live in Las Vegas. My daughter went to TWU, in Denton and loves TX. She is now living there.

I've been using their 80/20 for a very, very long time. I love it!

I think the 20% poly is the bonding agent. The Hobbs Heirloom is one of my most favorite batts because it's not needle punched and it's much softer after it's quilted. Plus it has a little bit of loft that gives your quilting some definition. You can really get some great texture with Hobbs Heirloom

the cost to ship to other countries is high, and the process to do all the paperwork needed to send out of country takes a lot of time...I know because I used to send replacement parts to Canada daily.
