Congratulations on a great deal on an awesome machine. You will love sewing on a Bernina and wonder why you waited so long to get one!

Congrats! I have a Bernina #1030 and love her...she still sews a mean stitch after all these years.

Congratulations on a great buy! It sounds as though this lady had several machines, and this one wasn't used a lot. That's great for you! Enjoy her!

Wow! You did great! And it is so neat how your friends and hubby rallied around you too. Enjoy your new Bernina!

You really got a steal. The older Berninas really hold their value. I have had several 830s as my 'main machine', and love them. They are designed so well and do everything!

I just sold my Bernina 153QE locally for $725...........Loved that machine, but couldn't press the foot pedal any longer as I had horses tromp both my feet when I was young. I don't know about the machine you bought but I'll bet your in love with it already! Congratulations.
