Housing a music box
When I visited the wonderful animation music box museum in Morristown NJ this past fall with our local historical society, I purchased 2 music box "works". They measure about 2"x 1" and are box shaped with a little crank on the side. I thought I would put them in small patchwork pillows for my granddaughters for Christmas. Has anyone ever done this? Any other ideas? Thanks!

How about housing them in a heart pocket (sashay) that's attached to the pillow with ribbon? That way they could lay on the pillow and still hear and have access to the music box. You could write something like " Music from Grandma's heart to yours".

I have been to Morristown but it was back in the 70s. Sounds like a great museum. It depends if the box interferes with using the pillow. Good Luck !! Sounds like a delightful gift for Xmas !! My Xmas music I play during the holidays is music from Regina music boxes. So relaxing...
