There are several patterns that might work for "extra" blocks. some of these could be found as prints or patterns: eagle, bison, House of Congress, star, flag, Lady Liberty head, mini scenes (purple mts, ocean, etc.). In the past, people have often put the label on the front, as well.

This is a great idea

How about this? 72x108

Yellow are your blocks, white sashing, blue cornerstones, red??

Would this work for you?

Whatever you do it has to be BEAUTIFUL.

Lots of work in it, I am sure.

I plan to do one someday.

I've read all the posts and any one of them would work depending the look you want. Whichever idea you go with (or combination of ideas!) it will be beautiful! Be sure and post completed quilt.:)

Blackberry,
I have a pattern book of 50-states with their birds.
It was done 7-blocks across, 7-blocks down=49 blocks.
The 50th block was a pillow.
Good Luck, Sentra
