I've signed up for a class to make a pineapple quilt but I can't decide which fabrics to use. How you do decide which fabrics to use? I want to use from my stash. Trouble is I have a couple different ones that I could use or collections to put together to use and just can't decide. I thought about using just scraps but not sure I would have enough. (I can hear your hearts breaking for me now.lol) Most of my scraps are not 100% cotton. I already bought black for the main color but now I'm reconsidering. I'm so confused. I'm ready to just put them all in a bag and pull one out and that's the one I'll use.

Here is a pineapple I made, I used a purple that appeared solid with coordinating prints for the petals.

Your colors are beautiful and it looks totally different from the picture of the one she posted for the class. That's why I can't decide. And no, don't think I'll be giving this one away. It won't be made with that intention anyway. They used black for the main color and bright scraps for the alternate. It looks kinda Amish. I'm so confused.
