I am in Germany for the next couple of weeks and brought over UFO's to work on and even a couple of books that I thought I needed. However, the binding book I brought doesn't have anything on how to bind a piece that has an non 90 degree angle. I am using double binding and am curious if anyone knows what I should do? Here's a picture of the table runner with the triangle ends showing.
Many thanks,
Cindy aka SafeDriving

When Ireach a corner that is not 90 degrees, I sew to 1/4" of the edge and back stitch. Pull it out from under the pressure foot, and fold the binding so it is a straight line from the next side. Fold back down and continue sewing. Works for me.

You fold it back just like any other corner except the degree of the fold back is slightly less. I think if you try it, it will make sence to you the degree of angle you turn it back.

Alicia's Attic has a You Tube video how to do the back side. She goes, over it rather quick, but you can always replay the video.
