I'm starting to take pictures of my quilts and make notes of the pattern, who received, etc. Do you hang them so you can see the complete quilt, lay them over a chair or what?

Some people show lovely quilts by laying them out on their beds.

Some hang them from anything wide enough to show a lovely quilt.

Some people beg or threaten friends/family into grasping ends of the quilts and standing their, muscles going into spasms, till she thinks she has enough pictures, then decides she needs "just one more, stand still darnnit!!Pick up the left corner..NO NOT YOUR LEFT, MINE!!!".

I've been taking mine by hanging them against a wall, but as I see others posted here I am finding that I prefer the ones laid out on a bed or draped over something. Gives them more dimension.

It depends on weather or not I am here by myself! If so, I usually lay it over the couch or a chair. If not my husband is a good holder!

I either hang them or lay them on a bed and stand on a chair to take the picture. I keep all my pictures in a picture album book with room for information about each quilt.
