    I can hear when my Elna runs out. It sounds a little different, but the 301 doesn't so this has been happening to me too often, especially when FMQ because it uses so much thread.

    I hate it when I do that.

    Once when I was at an all nighter it was about 3 in the morning and I must have gone thru 20 squares before I discovered that my bobbin was out. That started a giggling fit that when on for an hour!!!!

    Well........ My machine notifies me too and stops sewing... I found it stops me when there's still ALOT of thread left and I hate wasting it... So... I keep sewing and try to watch... Most my mistakes are... user error? :/

    Okay, which machines have that warning bell? Please.

    I have several machines, including the QE440, and none have a warning for out of thread in the bobbin.
