I apologize for bringing up that memory of yours.

How many health field workers do we have on this board?
I started as an LPN in 1976, went back to school and have been a RN since 1984. I still have an 18 year old at home so I do not see retiring any time soon. Then again how would I be able to afford my fabric if I did not work, LLOOLll

i just have to add my 2 cents worth - thank God that we have such wonderful nurses and doctors. I just had major surgery 3 weeks ago. I had "aorto bi-femoral bypass". i had blockage in my iliac arteries on both sides, the vascular surgeons cut me down the middle from breast bone to pubic bone, then 2 more incisions one on either side of that big one to join the graft below the iliac arteries with the top end joined to the aorta where it comes out of the diaphram. i had the best nurses, orderlies, male nurses etc etc in the world, thank God for all of you and all of them.
