I have a couple of kits on hand. when I buy one I open it up as soon as I get home to make sure I got everything needed. Once I opened one up about a year later an discovered one fabric was way smaller than stated and needed. Have you ever tried to get more of a fabric that has been discontinied!

As I was putting my treasures away it got me to wondering how many kits I had; not too many I found after counting; 18 in total. Everything from queen size quilt, wall hangings, table runners, and bags. I started buying kits while I was working so that when I retire fully time, and don't have as much income to spend I would have my stash to go to.
So how many kits do you have?? or am I the only one kit stashing??
Wow! I would love to have that many!!

None....I like to pick out the fabric and patterns myself so kits have never appealed to me.

Eight that I'll admit to. Whoops, make that nine. I just received the twelfth and final block kit for the watercolor cats quilt from Whims Watercolor. Looks like my retirement is going to be pretty busy, too!

I just have two, one I really loved the fabric but not the pattern provided, so I'm doing my own thing with it. The other is a Baltimore Album that I've been meaning to so someday.

I have 16 and counting. I am currently doing the Civil War Tribute BOM and I have finished 2 blocks. That would count as 17. There are all sizes of tops but nothing smaller than a throws. My husband wanted to put them in storage and I almost lost it. He has no idea how much fabric costs especially when you get it from your LQS. Needless to say, it is still in the house...LOL I have stopped buying more than 1 a year. I enjoy getting the BOM kits and I pick one a year to buy.

I've never bought a kit and don't think I ever will. I prefer the creative process of putting things together myself.
