I believe I had 8 until I bought a set of 3 Kai scissors at the Road to Calif. show. So now that is 11 unless I include the pair that simply disappeared one day.

Something along the lines of "More scissors than any human being should own". I don't even know. I end up loosing a pair (or pairs) and when I can't find them after so long I buy another pair and then probably as soon as I bring the new pair home I find the old pair.

My Mother died 6 years ago, upon going through all her things, we found over 75 pairs of scissors. All sizes and kinds. Then add what I have, and what my husband has in in shop. I would imagine that there are probably 200 pair here.

I have an obsession for scissors that my son has catalogued as unhealthy. I have my regular six or seven pairs for sewing. 3 or 4 pairs that I keep in strategic places around the house so they can be found easily before they go into the sewing table searching. I have 4 pairs in the kitchen, a few in the bathroom for nails, hair, etc. I have my Christmas collection with the cute handles, my Gingers with a lock on the handles, a weird scissor I found once with 5 blades (is a lot of fun to make the little one crazy: How did you do that?), a couple of paper scissors that I keep on top of the sewing table and they can find in case they do come to the sewing table, but they can be used before they open a drawer to search. OMG!!! My son is right. This is unhealthy. The problem is that I have lost so many to their carelessness, I now plan ahead and keep some available to them before they reach my good ones. I need help!

Several. A few here (KabuL) and I'm good for at least a few pairs at home.
