As many as you can tear apart and scan your favorite parts into your computer!

If you have room for them and you aren't buying them with money that you need for bills or food, then as many as you want to buy. When I run out of room, I build another book shelf. I go through my magazines and take out the patterns I want and put them in clear folders, then in notebooks. Most of the magazines are ads anyway. That's the way I do it anyway.
