For many years I used several Longarm quilters in the area, was able purchase a Gammill after my mom passed away, then updating to a Statler 5 yrs later.

I have a friend who purchase a Viking with a table of sorts, but she is unable to quilt even with a Q Bot in the 4 or so inch area she has to work in.

I make around 10 full-king size quilts a year, so that is one reason I purchased a longarm, and my mom really wanted my sister and I to have one.

I have even tied a couple with my LA table... two double knit quilts.

If you have heard of the Flynn system, I have hand quilted with that also. It works great.

I have a fun quilter and quilt all of my quilts. I figure with just the quilts I make for Linus my machine has been paid for. LOL

I don't have the talent to machine quilt and/or the patience. I have someone with a longarm do mine. Unfortunately, I can't afford to right now, or actually for a long time now. It can be quite expensive. Maybe I should try my own machine quilting, but I just don't have the time to practice to be good. I have alot of excuses, don't I?

I don't quilt all of mine but I do quilt most of them. I hand quilt. I can't explain to someone how I want it quilted and have it look the way I want it to so I do it myself. My mom is a long arm quilter. She bastes them together for me and I use my Q-Snap floor frame to quilt them.

I have the HQ16, I'm not great by any means, but I do have fun, and I'm learning.

I FMQ with my regular machine and also SID. However I have purchased a Flynn quilting frame and plan to use it on the quilt I am doing now, an autumn leaves wall hanging, on which I will be doing mostly SID with a little free motion.

I quilt all of my quilts only way they seem truly mine I use my Bernina 440QE with the stitch regulator better known as BSR it would be the perfect machine if the throat space was larger but anything larger than a twin I do in sections
