I find every time I see a quilt I love....I say.....Oh, I want to make one of those. But I see the ideas go in and out of my head so fast that I'm always thinking of something new.
I had actually decided what I was going to do next last week, then had a new idea and completely forgot the first one until last night when I picked up a pile of books and saw last week's idea.

I think I better start an 'idea' book to record my thoughts and ideas.....and keep it open on my desk! At my age, my short term memory is getting shorter all the time. OR, is it that I am getting better and better ideas all the time????

Oh, my To Do list is quite long, I'm afraid. Four quilts are currently in progress:

Blue Irish Chain (single bed cover)
    Christmas Quilt (wallhanging)
Dear Jane Goes Dutch (Dear Jane quilt made from scraps, no clue how it will turn out in the end, but I'm having fun)
Star Quilt (BOM from this board, although I am woefully behind!)

Then there are two where I have some of the fabric already, but not all of it yet:

    Sylvia's Bridal Sampler
Orca Quilt (based on a beautiful panel I got years back)

And then these are on my list as well, but only in the planning stages:

Fall Quilt (Debbie Mumm pattern (I hope I spelled her name right))
    Drunkards Path
America Quilt (own design, not completely worked out yet, but I'm getting there)

    So, plenty to do!

Yes, crisis basis here too, for the most part.

I have two fabulous kits waiting but they are both difficult (what was I THINKING!!!), plus the fabric for a triple Irish chain that is earmarked for DH's niece (hope she doesn't decide to get married anytime soon because I REALLY don't need another crisis!!). I also have 3 of twelve baltimore blocks done from a BOM a couple of years ago--it's also on my waiting list. I try to keep a couple of gender neutral baby quilts on hand, but lately DD has been raiding my completed stash for shower gifts so need to whip up a couple.

And I decided to take an afternoon and a cheap piece of fabric for myself and try a OBM. I think I am now addicted!! Everywhere I look, I see potential OBM's and my fingers are itching!!

    And here I sit.....

I go through my Future Projects binder and add/edit/delete every month----but then comes one like the recently posted Hexagon one and suddenly all else aside and I'm doing hexagons!

I have 8 3" binders filled with patterns and the fabric to complete 60 quilts (the fabric is stacked together so I don't have to search for it when I'm ready to piece it). The 8 binders mentioned are only the "quilt" binders-- I've also got binders for wall hangings, table runners, and every assorted size and technique available in the quilting world.

So much fabric, so little time!

Sooooo many quilts...sooooo little time...how true, how true. I'm currently saving vintage fabrics for a GFG & Dresden. Working on the fabrics for 2 log cabin for my 2 oldest boys, (16yrs. & 26yrs.). I have all my fabric for my youngest sons' (5 yrs.) Americana / Patriotic quilt. And then there's a quilt for my daughter (27yrs.) and my DSIL....no idea yet. Whew....toooo many ideas. Yep, crisis basis about sums it up!!!! lol :)

There are waaaayyyy too many quilts in my head to try and put them into a list. I have books and patterns and magazine articles and photographs, plus all the ideas that just pop into my thoughts daily. I don't know if I could ever live long enough to make all the ones I'd like to.
