I taped 3 containers together and have them on a shelf behind my sewing machines. They hold pens, rulers. tape measurers and misc items. They are great for knitting or crochet items too.
I have a whole shelf full with all kinds of sewing items.
They are just great!

I love these containers, how often can you ever find a neat storage container that doesn't require glue removed from a label? This label peels right off. My husband keeps the containers in the garage to store screw, bolts, bits etc. It could be used to store fertilizer pallets or any small amount of gardening chemicals, except liquids. I feel liquids would leak out, but I haven't tested that. I plan to use it for small sewing tools.
