I saved scraps from all the projects I made for my family and started making them into quilts to get them used up....they seem to multiply instead of diminish .. I have gotten rid of large bags of small scraps..and now I read about scrap painting so I have little scraps sorted in colors in zip bags and will try doing that one of these days Seems like a picture of life.. God takes are little scrapes and turns them into some beautiful things..kinda interesting how it all works. if we turn things over to Him!

Too funny! So glad you clarified when it is that you don't save it!

Have not been to the fabric store in 18 months and haven't made a dent in the fabric I have.

I wish I were like you. I could open my own store!

Right now, I don't buy much large pieces of fabrics, except for neutrals and fabrics that I can use as sashings for my scrappy quilts. I ma trying to use up the fabric that has been given to me, but no matter how many scrappy quilts I make, my pile of scraps never seems to get any smaller!
