Default How to quilt this top

I just finished a court house steps top and am stumped on how to quilt it. I thought about SID but that seems overwhelming. The top is about 54 x 70. Thanks for any suggestions.

SITD would be a big job with all those seams. You could start by quilting a line up the step edges in each block rather than all the straight lines. Depending on the batting required quilting distance and the size of your blocks, this might be enough quilting. You could than add whatever quilting design you wanted in the spaces or not, it is up to you. I might mimic the zig zag pattern a couple of times in all my courthouse step segments.
