Default How should I quilt this?

This quilt has many 8x8” light green squares. I’d like to do a different FMQ pattern in each of them. Any ideas for one of the squares?

im also thinking of using several colors in each square instead of just Various greens. What do you think?

There is also a lot of the odd Mint green shape Shown below. Any ideas for that?

Thanks MJP

Pretty top! The green blocks would look nice with a design in them like using the spin rulers and ruler foot. If you don’t do ruler work, you could just do the whole thing cross hatched following the little squares.

Nice top! Since it’s green and the squares look like windows, try some outdoor motifs. Leaves, vines, flowers, birds, and fruit. The odd shaped areas could be trees. The flowers and birds would lend themselves to different colors of thread.

Pretty quilt. I would probably do a flower like the rose of sharon, and echo. Also prefer only use thread to match the green, but then I'm not very adventurous with multi-colors.

If you like feathers, the "odd Mint green shape" seems like a great spot for them. Another idea is a fleur-dis-lis. I sketched out a few designs that may give you some ideas.

Here's a much better fleur-dis-lis than the one I drew.

Since you have mostly block shapes in your beautiful quilt I would go with a circular motif like a wreath in the green spaces. I think I would also use the same color thread in the green spaces since you have so much color going on throughout the quilt. I love the pattern and I wonder if it had a name or if you designed the pattern. I have made 3 scrap quilts this year and I still have 3 bins of scraps left that I could use to make this quilt. Great job!

Very pretty quilt and what a great way to use up scraps. I have no idea for quilting designs. Sorry

Thank you everyone. I love the ideas. I’ll use all of them.
