There is a huge auction in New Harmony, IN this Saturday. It has tables of old quilts, boxes of quilting "stuff", and it appears to be totes of fabrics.

I found it on the Auctionzip.com site. Didnt know if there were any western KY, southern IN or IL quilters who might be interested. Check out the auction preview pictures.

It is a 3 hour drive but we are thinking about a road trip to get away from home for the day. Will try and take some pictures.

that is a huge number of quilts. it would be nice to see them go to charity, actually.

My husband was just saying that if there are twin sized tops or inexpensive twin sized completed quilts, we would get them for Lutherwood, a residential children's home, here.

Wonder how long it will take me to get there, LOL. Wish I could find something like this in my area.
