    Thanks so much (everyone!) It was a gift for my brother. I had a blast picking out the fabrics and texting him sample photos and border layouts so he could pick what he liked. The right tools (either the techniques others have shared or the Tucker templates) do potentially make the block so much easier. I also used EQ to play with some of the border layouts, too, which made it a lot easier to do something "different".

    I did mine using pp'ing. Did a king. It was lots of work but worth it for me. Love this pattern!

    Mine were 10" squares . The quilt finished at 100" x 100" . Picture doesn't show it all done.

    Just looked at the pdf - a lot of waste fabric though so doubt if I'd use it.
