Can anyone help with suggestions patterns for LAQ'ing my new Hunter's Star? I'm just starting with my Lizzie and have done alot of all overs - but I'd really like to do something special for this one!!

    Thanks so much!

This is a beautiful quilt. I keep thinking I would like to make one of these, but it looks challenging. Great workmanship. Thank you for sharing.

i would probably do a fleur de lis in the odd-shaped triangles. i'm not sure about in the stars, though. lovely work.

    I love feathers....
A feathered wreath in the 4 patch area, filling the area up to the diamonds of the star.
The stars you can do a couple things, first a ribbon in each diamond or a feather that would start in the center of the star... sewing up to the point making a loop, and coming back towards the center doing some feathering. Gentle curves, that is what gives it the movement...
    Enjoy!
