Oooooh, I love how you've handled the fabrics in this one, very appealing!

Your quilt is amazing... I love the 2 color choices. I made MSQC's version of hunter's star last year in scrappy colors with tans. I quilted it FMQ allover with leaves and berries. I chose this quilting design because it reminded me of nature and added some curves to the very straight lines of the hunter star.
I quilted using a tan colored thread, which might work well for your colors. Perhaps something a little darker than your tan fabrics, (Khaki maybe?) so it doesn't show up looking white on your reds.

Your Hunter's start is beautiful...I usually google to get ideas from other quilts of similar patterns to see what might fit best...sometimes it's helpful, sometimes not. We will definitely want to see photos when you've finished it.

I love your quilt! The varying shades of red add so much interest. I would google that pattern to see what others have done.

Probably have your idea already. Being a hand quilter, I would do the shadow quilting on this one. Very lovely design btw!

Since lots of hunting happens in the woods, how about leaves in the large triangles?
