I have been buying camouflage and other hunting style fabric for a quilt for my brother who is an avid hunter, will probably do a d9p for next year. This is my first year quilting, so parents get one first, then will try to squeeze one out really quick for my ungrateful ingrate (just kidding) of a son and his girlfriend. I like the D9P but haven't tried to make one yet - the directions look really simple though.

I love animal quilts. I've made several horse lap tops. My latest has wild animal appliqued faces and I have 2 more sets to do yet. Mine are so much simple than yours which are gorgeous.

This is a duck themed quilt top. It as been quilted and will be sitting under the Christmas tree soon. I think men get neglected in our quilting projects. The quilt tops don't have to be elaborate or complicated. Keep it simple.
