If you could buy this machine for $45, two years old, hardly used, would you?

That is a good buy on it. I had one and really didn't care for it and I can't give any definite reason. Maybe I was just too spoiled from sewing on my DII with more bells and whistles. I traded mine toward a Sapphire which I love for quilting. Still like my D II for piecing. I don't think you would go wrong with buying it for that price. Can you test it first to make sure it is working correctly? Oops just realized mine was the C20 Huskystar not the the E 20. Still think the E 20 would make a good basic machine.
