I read about a Husqvarna 1100 Viking Embroidery Machine for sale on Craig's List. It looks like it has a large throat area (whatever it is called LOL). Does anyone know if it can be used for Quilting???

I just Googled Viking 1100 sewing machine & you can see all the quilting feet , (1/4", stippling, etc. ) this machine has, so it is definitely made for quilting.

That is what i have and i use it for quilting....i love Husqvarnas!!! I have two....wouldn`t think twice about buying another one...it was owned by a seamstress and i know she was a quilter as well...

Most Vikings are for quilting...I also have two and wouldn't buy anyother brand...
