Thank you all for talking about my exhibit!
I bought the quilt from Nancy through Etsy, and it is a wonderful example of how far the New York Beauty quilt pattern has come since it first appeared over 150 years ago. The exhibit represents the life story of this classic American patchwork quilt design, which in earlier days had many other names such as Rocky Mountain Road and Crown of Thorns. The exhibit is in Philomath, Oregon - not far from Corvallis - at the Benton County Museum. My first museum exhibit! For those who can't make it, there is an 80-page, full-color print catalog available online at:
