I can't believe what I just found. I was so inspired by you all that I went through my huge crate of tiny scraps, ironed it all, sorted into colours and into small plastic boxes. Then decided to put them with the larger plasic boxes that have my larger pieces in. This is when I had my "Oh My God" moment. I have sooooo much fabric. It felt a bit like Christmas, all this lovely fabric that I had forgotten I had. But I also realised just how much I DO NOT NEED TO VISIT A FABRIC SHOP for the rest of my life.

Wow you are lucky. I have a small stash, but I make do with what I have. I usually only buy fabric for what I am working on, but I save my scraps that are big enough to use elsewhere.

I know how you feel, but isn't it fun just to go into your sewing room and feel the material? :D

I know how you are feelin'. I am packing up our house to move, and I have been organizing my fabric as I pack. OMG.....my DSIL, told me I had enough fabric for a small quilt shop, but now that I am working on it, probably more like a shopw the about 500 bolts.
I only "try" to purchase when I am working on something, but like I've said, you can't habe to much fabric....can you???
