ONE STITCH AT A TIME!Originally Posted by Grama Lehr
I used to say I wished I could, so I threaded a needle and pushed it down through the fabric, reached under, pulled it out and poked around under there till the point came out the top!!
pulled it through - ONE STITCH COMPLETED!
Yesterday I managed to go in and back out in one motion and then to do two!
Give it a whirl!
You should be proud!
Good work! I usually do one at a time, but two occasionally. I am just a newbie at it as well. Keep going!
LOL, that is such a great feeling, isnt it. I love to hand quilt too. So relaxing. Hope you will post once done. HAPPY QUILTING!
Congrats. I have never concerned myself with number of stitches on a needle. Really? I am glad the needle goes thru period. I am a handquilter not a contortionist expert. LOL. I think I am up to 8 in a inch and that's after years. LOL. If they ask how many you get in an inch, don't quilt for them. LOL. Of and the 8 to an inch is not all at the same time. Handquilting is fun and relaxing, I don't count.
SO glad you are meeting the challenge to have fun with it. Enjoy.♥♥
Great! You will find your way and enjoy!
Congratulations, keep up the good work.
A journey starts with just one step! Isn't that the saying? Enjoy your trip.
I'm just glad not to be moving my arm over and under cause I didn't use a frame so needed one to hold the quilt. Now I just drape it over an embroidery frame that has legs to rest on your chair seat (I can even use my recliner!)Originally Posted by debbieumphress
