Default I am so proud and chuffed

I have a Patchwork class that I hold every Wednesday in our local village hall, it has been going for nearly 2 years and one of my ladies has a lot of health and pain problems and finds quilting so therapeutic. She has been doing lovely work and her family are amazed and very supportive. Anyway one of her GD showed such an interest Ceri put together a starter quilting set from an old sewing machine to FQs and Rulers. To give her additional support I have put together a pre-cut D9P kit and will send her it next week. She is only about 28 years old so it's great to have a new young quilter joining us all. I feel so chuffed that I have spread the love of quilting to yet another generation.

That is a wonderful thing to do, for both of you. Quilting and sewing is an art that should not go away. So hugs (()) to you and anyone who helps the craft go on.

How nice! (I'll admit to having to look up "chuffed". We Americans don't always speak English all that well!)

Where I live we would say, either "chuffed" or "made up". It means, really pleased.

Your generosity may be the beginning of a future quilting artist! Thanks for the evidence of the consideration all quilters seem to have for others!
