Add another fabric and make a pinwheel patterned lap quilt.

Put the extra pieces aside or the time being. You will not be happy with anything that you make with them while you are still mad at yourself. I know from experience. Those pieces are large enough to make many things out of them. Tomorrow is another day. Peace.

Done that before. You can make another quilt with them or use them for smaller things like pillows, wall hangings, or table toppers. That way, they match the quilt. If it makes you feel any better, I never cut the right amount. I always cut extra(incase I mess up on something, I don't have to take it apart) and end up with scraps all the time. I don't like following directions though.

I think you can make a few small gift items.....such as table runners, throw pillows.....It will make you feel good to gift them so you can then feel good about the end result.....BEa

Not only am I upset over that but I could have gotten away with alot less fabric. I could have used that $ towards fabric for another project !!!
Bit late catching up with my reading but I would have made up a top with the same pattern then cut it up to make two pillow shams. that is of course after I got mad at myself for doing this in the first place.

I do that all the time. Maybe not to that degree, but more than I need anyway. Just make two quilts. Easy enough.

Also if you wind up with extra blocks by doing something along the same line, you can always use them when you make carry bags. Put them in the front and frame them with coordinating fabrics.

Everyone has such great ideas. I'd go for using them just in a different arrangement.

I was going to say, like some on the first page, just make a second quilt with the excess.
