Now i am going around the house trying to find things that need to be surged....lol. I have already redid some pillowcases that i made without a serger. I just love that machine! Now i am working on a snuggie i made. I didn't know they could be so handy.

Glad you are happy with the new serger. I did a lot of mending when I first had mine, old bath towels got turned into washcloths, old flannel shirts became dustcloths, .If it had a raw edge, it got serged.LOL

I don't think I could sew without my serger. I don't use it real often, but when I do I NEED it and couldn't live without it. Every sewer should have one!

Aren't they fun? I used to wonder who really needs a serger. :lol:

Then I actually used one :roll: and even though it was a very old model that only did edge finishing, I was hooked.

Now, I have a modern Brother - 1034D - I LOVE it and it would be immediately replaced if something went wrong with it. I do a lot more quilting than garment construction, lately, but I still use the serger a lot more than I ever imagined I would.
