I went on a quilt bus tour back in Oct. 2018 and brought my sister with me who doesn't sew. Even she bought fabrics that weekend. I came home with 86yds of fabric that weekend. I still have some sitting onthe floor for lack of any space on the shelves. That weekend I told myself no more fabric buying until I could get all this fabric off my floor. Put myself on a 1-yr no fabric. Got thru it with no problems so put myself on another year. Still good. I did have to do 3 fat qtrs once to finish a quilt someone decided she wanted made into a queen size quilt but that's all I've bought. All the quilts in the making and that's 6 on the block right now are being made with what's on hand. Looks like I won't need to buy fabric next year either as my sewing mojo went out the door this year so haven't been doing much sewing.

I have been doing my very best this year not to buy fabric. I have made 2 purchases. One just last week for faux fur for Christmas stockings. this is something that is not in my stash and the other was for lame' that I needed to make a series of special face mask for a wedding. Other than that I have been working from my stash. I actually found two packages that got mislaid from shopping sprees before I decided to stop shopping. What a surprise they were. I try not to look the temptation is to great.

I've been doing pretty well with not buying fabric I don't really need (as I have enough of that already) - my new addiction is embroidery designs. At least I have plenty of room for storing those and I don't have to prewash and fold.
