Just guessing, you probably don't care for green cause the color doesn't look good on you. I heard from some source that we tend to like colors that look good on us.
Welcome to the states, I hope you get a chance to visit a few more of our "quilterly" places. Amish communitys have fabulous shops, Shipshewanna, Ind., Pennsylvania etc. One was so fab that I had to step out for awhile, sensory overload. LOL.

Harriet Hargrave's store is less than 2 miles from my mom's when I visit her I almost always go shopping at Harriet's. I have to be careful to not over spend the fabrics are so great. There is something for every taste. I love her batiks.

Judi, I think you may be right as it make me look "yellowish" when I wear some of the greens. the forest green suits me but when it comes to choosing different coordinating green fab that's where I hesitate as far as my liking goes....loll

Kateyb. I thought her staff was the most helpful people I ever encountered in a fabric store.

Learned that I loved pink and blue but simply couldn't wear them...talk about faded out!!! LOL But the good thing is, since I can't wear them I now love them in quilts so I guess that's having the best of both worlds. ;-)

one of my favorite souvenirs is fabric from the place we visited, preferably with a theme representing that place. For example, in Maine, I bought blueberry and lobster fabric. In Florida, I got flamingo fabric.
