O.K., so that's news to me. Thanks for sharing! I shall pay more attention in the future as to how I thread my needles. Perhaps this explains why sometimes my thread does nothing but knot, and sometimes it's just fine.

I just thought I'd like to let you know since I read your thread I've been following the tip! For me, it's working like a charm! I was most skeptical. I'm working on Yo Yo's while I watch TV at night to make a coverlet for our guest bedroom. I will need 5000 of those Yo's, it seemed daunting but I'm finding I'm making 40-50 in an evening (I think maybe I watch too much TV:0) Only 4200 to go!!!! :0)

Even though I used bees wax I would still get the dreaded knot/tangle from time-to-time. I also appreciated hearing there are two sides to the needle eye...that too has saved some frustration in threading the eye. Who knew????

I tried putting multiple needles on the spool as one person said she does....that one didn't work so well for me as those needles got tangled....I loved that hint but I haven't mastered that concept.

So this is just to report that for me, this thread has helped me immensely

I have done it this way for years, but did not know it was different for left handed sewers, and will pass that info on to my leftie friends.

What difference does it make? I just started quilting and I just finished my very first, completely hand stitched, appliqued, and quilted, project. I did have a few knots here and there but nothing that continually happened. I'll have to remember this, I'm going to start a Baltimore Album soon. I hope I remember this.
