I feel like a kid on Christmas Eve

I am so excited. I leave bright and early in the morning to go and test drive and hopefully purchase a gently used Baileys 17 Pro. Hope by this time tomorrow afternoon to be bringing her home. I got her room freshly painted and all ready for her. Hope I can sleep tonight with all the excitement.

StephT, I really don't have the room, but I am making it work. It will be set up at 10' rather than 12. And i am barely able to fit anything other than the machine and frame in the bedroom. Hoping my sewing machine at least will fit too. Where there is a will there is a way in this case. Who needs a guest room anyway - I don't have time for guest - I will be quilting.

Hope you get as much or more enjoyment from ownership as you have from the anticipation. Have a safe trip!

Nancy, I must about to leave now, it is about a 3 hour drive from me. I will update as soon as I get home! Praying all goes well and she comes home with me.

I'm with you... you won't have to make coffee or change the sheets for your new tenant.

Lucky lucky you, best wishes for a long life together! I love the attitude "who needs a guest room anyway". I talked myself into a similar conclusion this morning, my stepdaughter and granddaughter called last night and said they are coming out (we are out in the country, they are about 45 minutes away). They will be here around noon so I said I will make lunch. I considered cleaning off my dining room table that I have taken over as my sewing area, but after very little self-deliberation, I decided we can eat lunch at the kitchen island just fine, my quilting needs to stay where it is comfortable.

Good luck, I hope she is everything you are looking for and please do post a photo when you have her set up.

I also have limited space for my longarm. I put wheels on the frame, and when not in use, I push it against the wall.

As our children left home to be on their own, their rooms have been filled. The girls' bedroom is now the sewing/scrapbooking/home office room (YIKES!). The boy's room has a daybed, computer, and lots of bookshelves with one rocking chair.
Works fine for DH and me. You have fun with your new guest.
One step at a time, always forward.

Let us know how she works out for you. I am in the market for a long arm and will have to jiggle space until my new sewing room is built. I know the anticipation
