When my youngest started to school until she graduated I worked at Minnestota Fabrics (now Hancock) We could keep a running tab until payday and then it would be deducted from our pay check. I had to really be careful not to over spend. Lots of wonderful benefits: made model garments for the store and then they became ours, great discounts. Even made her prom gowns as model garments. Great savings.
Wish we still had one in our area. I used to drive an hour away to one in Ohio (Hancock) but that has since closed too.

I always wanted to work at Walmart cutting fabric, then they cut back/out their fabrics. To me, to be able to touch and handle beautiful fabric everyday would be a possible cure to my fabric addiction ------------ NOT.

Congratulations! It won't be like work at all. I worked at a LQS years ago and it was so much fun.

Ok you win. I am extremely jealous! Have fun, enjoy and hope you get to bring your paycheck home. I don't think that I would.

I truly believe that God answers prayers. I have wanted a part time job doing what I love to do for quite some time now and to get to learn how to use a long arm - YES! That's what I will be doing. Please pray that I do well for her.
