Good luck with getting a paycheck. I worked part time at two different quilt chops. I think I ended up owing them money.LOL

Congratulations :D One of the daydreams I have from time to time is having a little bookshop, old and full of nooks and crannys or a fabric shop which is bright and has lots of space to move around in and have comfy chairs and little tables to look at various fabrics and have time to chat with anyone who came in...as I wont ever have either a job in either would be great.

And the goal is to leave every other week with a paycheck, rather than having to pay them because of all the fabric I took :D[/quote]

Yeah, right! Good luck with THAT goal!

LOL You will be lucky to leave every other pay check there. In a year or so you will become very picky. Enjoy your time in the quilt shop. Keep us in the know of what is changing. Best Wishes..

You will love it! I have worked at 2 different QS. The only thing is --- alot of the time I owed them money! but it did support my habit.

I worked and ran a fabric store for 11 years. Want to guess how big my stash is? And that was before I started quilting. so now I have two stashes.
I am one sick old lady and I love each and every piece!
