I needed to buy some heavy weight pellon so off to Joann's I go. Of course one has to 'look around' at everything when there. I found an entire bolt of tone-on-tone white marked at $3.00. That in itself was an amazing find - then it was 50% off the $3.00 The notion wall was buy one get one free! So I bought some Fray Free & Liquid Stitch. PLUS I had a 20% off the entire purchase coupon, even the sales items!

Then I went to Staples to buy a portable hard drive because the thumb drives I was using kept going bad every few months. The portable hard drive was on sale so I saved $25.00 there.

Was headed for the car when I realized I forgot to buy my Pellon. Went back to Joann's and bought my pellon using a 40% off coupon.

At Joann's twice in one day! Yee-haw! And you can't leave with just one item, even on the second trip!

Don't you feel so good when you scored! I always think - looking back at the money I saved I have more to spend next time! My husband just doesn't seem to see it my way though!

Good job, Dove.

I bought a fist full of fabric for some Christmas sewing at JoAnn's last Thursday, as well as some thread and a new seam ripper because I broke my old one. I was planning to use the 20% off total purchase coupon. On my way to check out, I discovered the coupon was for Fri-Sunday, not Thursday. DRAT, DRAT AND DOUBLE DRAT!

If most of my stuff had been items rather than fabric, I'd have put it all away and gone back Friday. I live 20 miles away which isn't a big deal, but I decided to go ahead and buy what I'd picked out. Could have saved $16 if I'd have waited until Friday.

I always have to look at everything when I get to JoAnns. Nice to hear about a good shopping trip.
