Thanks. It looks better in person I think. I am going to have to look up the model # and such. Do you know why there would be a model # on the cabinet and another # on the machine? Just curious.

I'm guessing because they were sold seperately in the Sears catalog, and you could get different cabinet models with different machines...mine is the same way. :)
Your little Mary Grace is beautiful!! I LOVE that smile!! :)

Thank you. I love her to pieces. She's a handful but Oh how I love that girl! I love my boys too. She's like my shadow though. ;) Thank you for the info.

I have a vintage Singer with the knee control ... I love a knee control . Wish the new machines had them.

I agree Lori. My Mom and Dad let me take their 1940 Singer w/knee bar home with me. I really like it!! :)

I love the cabinet - and knee controls are so cool to use - I first learned to sew on one and it still feels automatic to lean my knee over to the right looking for the lever. :)

I'm so glad that you're happy with it and you were able to work out a good arrangement with the seller. :)

I fully agree. It looks like it has not been used that much. Yes, the knee bar is wonderful. I have it on a Signer 15-91 and I really like it. Have fun and enjoy!

The problem with it we are thinking is the needle was too short-was like an original needle. There wasn't even a point on it anymore.
