I have a Disney SE-270 embroidery machine and I am decorating a quilt cozy with word of encouragement for a wedding couple. I do not know how to make a space between words. I try to line up by site alone and it is not working, my words are off line............. help!!!

    Thanks sewbusy

Sounds like your two words do not fit within one hooping?

If that is the case, can you draw a chalk line on the fabric and use it for a reference?

With my Brother I go past the lower case and past the numbers and where the symbols are, there is a symbol that looks like this : _ or an underscore. This is the symbol for space. If the words fit on the hoop, this will separate them.

Thank you Maride, I tried both upper and lower case and all I got was the underscore symble. My machine is 5 years old so maybe there is some imporovments to the program. Wait a minute I only looked at it in the view screen, I will give it a try with fabric and see if tht makes a differance.
I will let you know in a few.

I thought you might like to see the quilt cozy and why I needed to know how to make a space between words. Thank you again, for all your help and support. Sewbusy
