Default I love football season....

...my DH is so engrossed he doesn't even notice that the house isn't getting cleaned because I quilt so much in the fall. Football is the perfect distraction. I said my goodbyes to him a few minutes ago. His eyes will be nowhere but on the TV for the next 4 months! He does, however, continue to cook the meals, so we do get nourishment On to the basement to quilt!!

You lucky, lucky, lucky girl!!! My husband doesn't really watch sports - he thinks he is a jinx, so he just checks the scores every 1/2 hr. But I am blessed - he does all the cooking, I just clean up. Hopefully I will be able to lock myself in my sewing room shortly for a few days / weeks.

I love football too, but I love to watch the games too. Not a great idea when trying to sew, so I need to get some binding projects ready for game days.

DH knew before we got married I don't have a sport bone in my body. He watches sports whenever he wants and I sew or read whenever I want. I don't make breakfast or lunch for any adult but will cook dinner. He grills so usually we have grilled meat/fish with a salad for dinner. I use all disposable dishes and utensils so no clean up, we both detest cleaning up after a meal so disposables are worth not having to do that.

Ditto! If I never spoke one word to him during a game, he'd be happy as a clam!

We're the same way. I keep telling DH we need to take out stock in Dixie disposable plates

DH is grateful I don't cook - he's always willing to cook, as he says, "So I can stay alive". Obviously my cooking skills aren't very good.

Yay! I don't care for pro-football but I do like college football. I love to quilt in the fall and winter months. If it weren't for the cold, I icky weather, it would be the perfect time of year!
