I have a go and multiple dies and mats, but I don't use it. Most of the quilts I make use squares, rectangles or triangles and I've found I enjoy using my rotary cutter. I just mentioned on another thread that I should sell my leader grips. I suppose I should sell my go cutter and accessories too.

Goodness, it's a bit embarrassing to think of the money I've thrown away on things

I love it too! Had to cut some odd sized pieces yesterday with the rotary cutter, and between my wonky eyesight and shaky grip, I was wishing I had the right sized die for the shape I needed! Makes the process so painless. Will be making a memorial quilt soon and even though it will use just squares and strips, I am really looking forward to using the GO! to speed along the work. Don't use it every day, but it sure helps when I do need it.

Onebyone....did you use 4" square and 4" HST ( finished) ...rather than 7" sq sew all around.....

This is a great pattern...thanks for sharing.....wish our guild was as progressive as yours about investing in die cutter...I tried to convince, but no GO!!!!!!

I just got the Go Big and due to arthritis in my hands I think I'm really going to enjoy cutting a whole quilt quickly. Also, scraps into usable strips and shapes.

Wow....it looked so complicated to do just looking at the quilt but with the pattern you've provided, it should be fun to do!!
Thanks...I'm gonna use my go too except the 7x7 will have to be cut by hand. Can't wait to start going thry my stash and get to cutting!

I got a Go recently and love it, I cut out Apple core for a queen size quilt in 30 minutes, would have been hours doing this with a rotary cutter. I got the sun bonnet Sue die, and made a block up in no time. Coming to Florida on 30th Jan and intend to do a full sbs quilt when I get back.

My GO is one of my favorite quilting tools. I just made 3 king size quilts that required a zillion 2 1/2" strips. The GO made this quilt possible for me to do. I never would have even tried it if I didn't have the GO. When you can cut out 12 strips at a time it makes things a whole lot easier, and a whole lot faser. And the strips were almost perfect - a whole lot more perfect than if I had to cut them out individually with my rotary cutter. I had my GO cutter for a couple of years and absolutely loved it, but I did trade it in for the GO Big and now I can make all my cuts without turning a handle. My GO and my embroidery machine make applique possible for me, too, which I did very little of prior to my GO!
