I Need Help!!
I have lost the bobbin cover for my Babylock Destiny (I am sure it it here someplace), and I need to be sewing and cannot. Do any of you have any "emergency measures" to get my through until I can get another one?
Thank you.

Check the original accessories that came with your machine. I believe there is an extra one included.

Good Luck!

If you're asking whether there's any substitute for the bobbin case then no, there is definitely not. When I lose something I sometimes panic, and then I can look in the same place 50 times and not see it there. Sit down, have a breakfast beverage, relax, think about where it might be, why it might not be in the sewing machine, and then search methodically and calmly, with the idea that it will turn up.

Do you mean bobbin case or clear plastic plate that goes over drop in bobbin? If it's the clear plastic plate, you can sew on most machiness whether it's on or not.

I was referring to the clear plastic plate that covers the bobbin. Thankfully, I have found mine...it was under the sewing machine cabinet, but I am going to get an extra, just in case. Thank you all for your comments.

I did that once with the cover to my embroidery machine. Found it in a clear zippered bag with embroidery notions in it from my last project (some time prior) which I hadn't taken the time to put away properly; I only collected them into that bag.
