I need ideas for quilting a hexagon quilt top

I'm using a lot of my scraps to make 1" hexagons, about 3,000. Mostly prints from other quilts. I have no idea what to suggest to my LAQ I pattern want used. All I'm looking for is some sort of quilting that will keep the 3 layers together and not make the quilting the focal point

I used "Blog this post" to save Buzzinbumble's post about suggestions to my QB blog. It's come in handy several times:

Such great ideas for quilting a OBW! I have one of those in the works so this will come in handy later. Thanks for posting/re-posting this.

interested in this, not near finished with mine, it's a 3/4" hex, that is driving me crazy, but I love it. it's about 45 x 60 now, not big enough except for my kitty, who already has my GFG.
put off till tomorrow what you can do today, and if you procrastinate long enough, you may never have to do it.
