This is how the "square" has turned out. Any thoughts? I have not evened out the edges yet. I used a set 5 x 7 piece of muslin because the center fabric came from a neck tie.

I like the red inside. But I would border in red, then the other colour so it looks like you have framed the picture.. unless of course you are doing a lattice-like background.

Does that make sense?

Why don't you try one with the blue inside also, and see which you like best? Seeing it sewn together, I even more feel like the red closes the focus square in and "crowds" it.
