I have the Nook Color E-reader and would like to make a cover for it. It's larger than the Kindle and the original Nook. Any help would be much appreciated.

I have a Kindle 3G and bought this pattern from Sewbaby.com

http://www.sewbaby.com/shopbaby/prod...oducts_id=6264

I found the pattern well written adn easy to use. I used two fat qtrs and then some leftover binding. It is written to fit a variety of readers.

Here is a pic of the one I did....

I made one kind of like Launie's, but with the elastic straps in all four corners of the right side of the interior. I will see if I can locate my old post, which I think has a link to the website I used for inspiration. I used my Kindle's measurements and added a little more padding than the original pattern.

There is also a cover out there for readers that allows you to stand your reader up on a table, which could be handy! I think I need to make one of those, too.

Wow those are really pretty. I wish my kindle wasn't on my phone.

I would echo this. I've made covers for both Kindles and Nooks using these instructions, and the recipients have been very pleased.

Thank you all so much for the info. I really appreciate it. I have a "foamy" type of zippered cover, but wanted one with a firm support, I think these are just what I was looking for. Thanks again :-)
