Default I need a wedding gift idea please

I was just invited to my nephew's wedding, and the wedding is this Saturday. I need some quick a wedding gift that I can make the couple. Can anyone give me some suggestions.

I find that cash or cheque is always welcome. I would do that rather than rush to get something done by Saturday. If you want something to put on the gift table maybe a pair of monogrammed towels?

how about a pair of pretty pillowcases? I really love the ones made from quilting fabric. They have a nice rich feeling.

place mats? You could do just 2 for the new couple. If you know what their wedding color scheme is going to be, you could follow that theme.

you could give them a 'certificate' for them to choose the colors, etc. for a lap quilt ... or any size you feel like giving. you could offer to put their wedding photo in the quilt or on the label... to make it special and unique

I also would suggest a couple of placemats or as many as you have time for.
