Default I was quite surprised

I worked with a close knit group of women, our little group got split up when our jobs got outsourced to a outside company. We still meet up every year for a weekend to catch up. One of the others mother passed and today was a viewing, when we got there I saw they had hung a memory quilt I made for her mother, it was hanging in front of the casket among the baskets of flowers. I have to admit I was thrilled to know she loved it that much that the family knew they had to include it. Nope, it's not a blue ribbon at a big quilt show, but I think it meant as much to me.

So heartfelt. What a kind person you are and it shows what goes around comes around.

You must have felt so honoured. To know your quilt was appreciated and enjoyed is wonderful.

We often never know the impact of our quilting. Your quilt must have made a powerful imprint on all. I am sure the threads in your heart were touched deeply.

It must have meant a lot to the mother and to them for it to be displayed. Such a great honor is worth a big giant blue ribbon!
