After reading all the posts about mid-arm and long arm quilting, I don't think I would ever learn to use one. I't too old or lazy to learn all that stuff. Guess I'll just stick with my regular machine.

You go girl! I'm sure others would have just given up. I wonder how many quilting frames & machines are sitting lonely out there because folks just gave up?

I haven't given up. I think I am just waiting fort the right day to get in there and tackle it. Funny I have felt this way about the frame because most of the time I am ready to take on something. I bought this frame to hopefully help on my body. I am so sure it would be easier to quilt on the frame so I am just holding myself back with this silly idea of it is too challenging.

Hmm, I didn't give up so much as I never really got started  I absolutely lusted after a frame ... wanted one sooo bad .... was blessed enough to have one given to me ... couldn't wait to get it put together and I did it myself because I was too impatient to wait for DH ... put my regular machine on it and practiced a bit. It was fun BUT with that machine on the frame I didn't have anything to piece with  and I was going thru withdrawal so I took the machine off the frame so I could piece and hmmm, several months later it makes a really good spot to hang stuff to dry  or to sort fabric on it. I told DH that I planned to save my Christmas money to buy a 9" machine to put on the frame so maybe next year

Marty is what I named my little gracie II frame (my husband has an evil bird named gracie so I had to change it's name) Marty was my grandfather's name and he was always making me strive for more so I thougth it fitting to name the frame after him :)
