Yes, I think the yellow is now toned down. The quilt is beautiful. Just a thought and a question for the expert quilters. Would doing an all over FMQ in blue variegated thread tone down the yellow more or look funny on the yellow?

This quilt takes me straight to the beach on a gorgeous summer day!! (Which is a good thing as we are due 6-10" snow here (finally!) on Wednesday.

I love it. Blue and yellow are some of my favorite colors together. I'm trying to work up enough nerve to do a Bargello. I will use yours are inspiration. And yes - I think the blue border tones it down nicely. Great job.
